Don't let the system keep you way down there, you gotta know it in your heart that you are way up here too. Don't let science keep you way down there, you got magic in your heart that belongs to you. Don't let the doctor keep you way down, there are miracles in your body you can bet your life on. Don't let the system keep you way down there! You gotta take chances, don't wait until their all gone.

wasn't sure what to expect when I picked this album up, I had only heard the first song but it was n-y-p so I got it anyhow. After listening through it at least 100 times in the last couple days, I can say with confidence that if there's every a re-release on the cassettes I'd get it in a heartbeat. Willow Barbeau

A folk punk classic, and a great example of how flexible the genre is: from the beautiful and heartbreaking "Blue Jays", to the poppy fun of "Day Gaunts", to the poignat honesty of "Misanthropic Drunken Loner", to the satisfying dissonace of the instruments vocals and lyrics on "Perfuctly Disfunctional". One of my Favorite albums that shines light into an underappreciated Genre losthuman113
